Oil is still in free-fall, closing at just over $42 today. It was $145+ just a few months ago. Our demand for casual travel, and thus fuel, is way down, and likely to stay that way as we all continue to panic about the state of the global economy. The weird part is that since [...] We waited until the last minute, as usual, to make no decision on where to go this year. We had a few invites, but we had tentatively planned to buy a turkey and cook it ourselves. We’ve got masses of stuffing left over from last year, and we really needed to do something with them. [...] Enjoy this while it lasts. I won’t be surprised to be paying four bucks again to haul my surfboard out to the beach next summer. |
