I know, sounds a bit redundant, doesn’t it? I was getting ready to enjoy another round of 24 Club last night, when I got an email demanding my presence at an audition 14 hours later. Okay, not demanding, but it wasn’t as if they were asking me if I was available, just “take it or [...] NoHo! The burgeoning arts district in North Hollywood was my destination this morning. I was playing the part of a Catholic priest. It was a decent role, and the script was more interesting than I’m used to seeing from a student film. It felt a bit rushed, I think because there was more to be [...] This was my second audition in a month at the Center, which is a shiny example of contemporary university architecture (on the inside, anyway). Lots of curvy ceiling panels and excitingly chunky moldings here and there. I was there to audition for the role of a son struggling with his siblings over what to do [...] I do enjoy these. I love school, and if I had the means, I’d go forever. It’s not just the education, it’s also that it’s full of people who have ambition, drive, and discipline. Their lives are full of promise and dreams of making a difference in the world.
