So I did a short film earlier this year, an all-volunteer cast & crew, to protest the passage of Proposition 8 here in California, which bans same sex marriage in favor of opposite marriage. The Supreme Court just ruled it constitutional, and the finished PSA was uploaded just after the decision. Click the video [...] I had two auditions Saturday, one down at Loyola Marymount at 10:00 a.m. and the other nearby at 3:00 p.m. The first one was fine, though the auditions were held in a classroom, and not soundproofed. Usually, you can’t hear your fellow actors doing their thing through the door, which, if you’re the last to [...] I was fully prepared to cringe my way through. I’m not the target audience for this movie, but as musicals-for-tweens go, it was watchable (geez, damn with faint praise much?).
